GR mouthpieces are at the top end of the trumpet mouthpiece market. When you buy a GR mouthpiece you are buying the most precision-engineered and perfectly balanced brass mouthpiece in the world. The cost of each mouthpiece reflects this quality and precision and this is why our returns policy requires more commitment on the part of the customer than other manufacturers.

You can arrange a visit to us by appointment to try a mouthpiece or get a mouthpiece consultation. To trial a mouthpiece please contact us, but please note there is a cleaning charge of £20 which includes P&P.

Conditions of sale:

Each GR mouthpiece or mouthpiece trial must be paid for in full before despatch. We accept payment in the form of a bankers draft, money order or cheque (please allow 3 working days to clear). You can also use pay pal to make payments. At present PC Brass does not accept credit cards. We operate a strict 7-day return period during which time a customer can return the mouthpiece if they are not happy with it. After the 7-day period has expired the customer is obliged to keep the mouthpiece and no refund will be given. The return by which time the mouthpiece is to be returned to us will be displayed on the invoice.

If the mouthpiece is returned within the 7-day period and is in perfect resalable condition, the customer will be refunded the cost less a £20.00 handling and cleaning charge. If the mouthpiece is damaged or scratched in any way then it will be returned back to the customer and no refund will be given.

Special order requests for custom mouthpieces and/ or unusual specifications will be on a strictly no returns basis. Payment for these items must be made when the order is placed and there may be a small wait while the mouthpiece is being made and shipped to PC Brass.

We do not offer a return facility on Gold Plated mouthpieces (special order only).

Here are some useful guidelines on keeping your mouthpiece in good condition during the trial period.

1. Always put the mouthpiece on a towel on its side.
2. Keep it in the box provided when it is not in use.
3. Never set it on a music stand or on the rim face.
4. Insert it into the instrument carefully and don't twist it.
5. We recommend that you test the mouthpiece yourself and resist the temptation to allow others to try it too.
6. If you are returning the mouthpiece to us make sure that it is well packaged and insured against damage or theft during transit. Gyro Music will not offer refunds on uninsured mouthpieces damaged in transit.
